Join us for Vacation Bible School!  July 25-29, 6:30-8:30 each evening.

***Designed for kids age 3 through (entering) grade 6

DESCRIPTION:

In today's society we are all faced with dilemmas that require courage to stand for God. This year's Vacation Bible School will introduce students to an amazing hall of fame: Noah, Joseph, Joshua, David and Esther. Students (and adults!) will be invited to wonder what it would be like to visit the ark, stand before Pharaoh, see the walls of Jericho fall, face a real life giant, and become a beautiful queen. Join us as we experience the heroic and powerful lives of these mighty Bible heroes and, through their example, be encouraged to BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS!

LESSONS:

Noah, Strong and Courageous To Stand Alone

Joseph, Strong and Courageous When Tempted

Joshua, Strong and Courageous To Obey God's Commands

David, Strong and Courageous When Facing The Giant, Fear

Esther, Strong and Courageous In Times of Crisis

KEY VERSE:

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.Joshua 1:9

7TH/8TH GRADE:

Once again we will have service projects available for 7th & 8th grade students that wish to participate.

Here at the Kimball Church of Christ, we come together for four main reasons:

To Worship The King:  The main reason we come together is to worship our Lord Jesus Christ.  When we humbly put our faith and trust in Him, we receive His blessing, guidance and peace that surpasses understanding.

Serve The Lord:  We are privileged to serve the living God and we count it a responsibility and an honor to serve others as Jesus served us.  Here, at the Kimball Church of Christ, there are many opportunities for you to use your gifts to help others.

Learn the Word:  We believe the Bible is God's perfect Word and is relevant to every generation.  We consider Bible study, both from the pulpit and in classes and homes, to be of vital importance for all members.

Build Lasting Friendships:  The bonds between Christian friends are like no others.  We believe in cultivating relationships and strengthening these bonds and we are always open to meeting and making new friends.

We hope you will consider joining us on this journey...

Kimball Church of Christ Mission Statement

 Our mission is to honor our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by carrying out His command to make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:18-20).  Specifically, we believe God has called us to focus on reaching those in Kimball and the surrounding areas who do not regularly attend any church.  In order to accomplish this, Kimball Church of Christ will be an equipping center where every Christian can be developed to his or her full potential for ministry.  This development will come through;

  •  Creative & inspiring worship
  •  Teaching which is biblical and relevant to life
  •  Vital, supportive fellowship
  •  Opportunities for outreach into the community in service and evangelism

Purpose Statement

The purpose of the Church is to make disciples through evangelism and fellowship and to edify them for worship and service.
