![]() We Believe... in one and only God as revealed to us in the Bible as God the Father, (Matthew 5:48), God the Son, (Matthew 3:17) and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). God the Son is known to us as Jesus (Luke 2:21). He is the Way, the Truth and the Life and He is our only Savior and only hope (John 14:6). He came to earth in the flesh (John 1:14), was conceived by the Holy Spirit and a virgin (Matthew 1:18). He lived in a sinless life and was crucified (Luke 23:23). He died a death of substitution taking man's sins upon Himself (Isaiah 53:5), was buried and rose again, bodily, on the third day (Mark 16:6). He ascended into Heaven and is now at the right hand of the Father (Acts 7:54-56) and will one day, unknown to man (Matthew 24:42), return to judge the living and the dead (1 Peter 4:5, Revelation 22:12). God the Holy Spirit was active in the Creation of the Earth (Genesis 1:2) and continues to be active today as Counselor (John 14:26) dwelling in the hearts of all Christians (Acts 2:38). God created man and all men have, by their own choosing, sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) and are, apart from Jesus, doomed to a God-less eternity that the Bible calls Hell (Matthew 10:28) AND salvation and the forgiveness of sins is found only through the grace of Jesus who bought our salvation with His blood (Romans 5:9, Ephesians 2:8-10). One received God's saving grace by acknowledging Jesus as God and Savior, turning away from sinful behavior, being immersed into Christ for the forgiveness of sins and indwelling of the Holy Spirit and following Him in obedience (Romans 5:1 & 2, Acts 3:19, Acts 17:30, 1 Peter 3:21, Philippians 2:11, Luke 6:46, Acts 2:38). The Bible is God's Holy Word, the original autographs were written by men, but totally inspired by the Holy Spirit and, therefore, without any errors. The Bible is provided to us as the final authority on all matters of faith (Mark 12:36, Acts 1:16, 2 Timothy 3:14-16, 2 Peter 1:20 & 21, Romans 15:4, Hebrews 4:12, 14:23, Acts 20:28, James 5:14, 1 Peter 5:1 & 2, 1 Timothy 5:17). The Church is made up of all Christians everywhere (Matthew 16:13-18, Acts 2) and God has appointed Elders to serve as shepherds of a local congregation, to pray for and serve the flock they have been appointed, by God, to oversee (Acts 14:23, Acts 20:28, James 5:14, 1 Peter 5:1 & 2, 1 Timothy 5:17).
